My polarized sunglasses either fall off while racing across the water, slide down while fishing or cost so much that you can’tafford to have a few pair on the boat. I have been through many styles of sunglasses from ALL the major manufactures and have never been satisfied......Until Now! Folks, you must check this out!
While fishing with a buddy of mine several months back, he had a pair of polarized sunglasses by the name of FishGillz. Being I forgot mine that day, he offered to let me borrow his for our tournament. When I first put them on, I knew right away I was in love with these polarized sunglasses! These sunglasses did not fall off my face and they were so very light, it was as if I was not even wearing anything. I did a bit of research and found out some information about them and since that day, I will never wear anything else! Let me tell you a bit about these revolutionary polarized sunglasses so that you too can be well educated next time you are searching for a new pair of quality polarized sunglasses.
The Floating Frames Actually Float!
I have had many expensive polarized sunglasses get knocked off my face with a wave or fly off while cruising at high speeds across the water throughout my career. FishGillz polarized glasses actually float! You don’t need the strap that floats or any of the other gimmicks out there.....the polarized glasses really float! I have already had mine get knocked off in the water and what a relief it is to simply reach down and pick them up and put them back on! You see, the frames are ultra light, weighting in at less than 5/8 of an ounce. The company uses a very unique polymer blend that allows the floating sunglasses to weight very little while still providing great strength and flexibility. These floating sunglasses even wrap around your face to give you the ultimate protection from the elements as well as the harmful rays that are produced by the sun.
FishGillz have patented their “Micro-Filter Lenses”. These floating sunglasses are made by the 3M Company and they are actually a multi-layer, high quality lense that are distortion free and provide unsurpassed optical clarity. This is important to me because when I am fishing a tournament and money is on the line, I don’t need to have to deal with the glare off the water when I am trying to land that money winning lunker! For me, polarized glasses are a must for the water to be glare-free and I need to see everything possible in the water as well.
With the Micro-Filter lense technology, FishGillz polarized glasses have a very unique process to ensure that all of the surface glare and intense bright light are completely filtered out. You see, polarized glasses actually reduced the visible glare from the water and increase visual acuity decrease eye strain. FishGillz floating sunglasses actually places a polarized micro-filter within the lense which will completely filter out the surface glare and intense bright light! This process allows you...the angler to actually see into the water and know what your fish are doing down there.
Folks, these are the most amazing polarized sunglasses I have personally ever seen! You can go right to the website at www.FishGillz.com and order yours today and tell them G. Wayne sent you! These fine people will even give you a one year, no questions ask warranty on their products. This is unheard of in today’s fishing market. Until next time.....Keep a tight line and happy fishin’!

How You Can Decide Whether You Should You Really Spend That Much on Polarized Sunglasses
By : Gregg Hall
Do you ever reach for your sun glasses before you move from your darkened house to the bright, clear day outside? Only on the day you have to purchase a new pair of do you think about exactly what you want perched atop your nose. You think about the technical and aesthetic differences. And then as you near the polarized sunglasses store, you wonder if the $200 Serengeti pair really work better than the $10 pair you just tried on at the flea market.
Let us take the mystery out and help you look for what you want. We'll consider styles as well as what technology has done to improve lens composition. We'll also examine how light works and show you why light can actually make the sun glasses essential. The complexity and sophistication of a simple pair of dark polarized sunglasses may well amaze you.
How do you pick your Polarized Sunglasses?
Do you choose based on price, style, color, or name brand? The two pieces of tinted glass or plastic set in a plastic or metal frame might seem like a simple design at first, but scientists have found a way to manipulate these two pieces of glass or plastic to literally effect the user's eyesight once he slides them on. Differences between polarized sunglasses really do exist.
What your Polarized Sunglasses can do for You
Polarized sunglasses should protect your eyes from ultraviolet rays in sunlight. Ultraviolet, or UV, light damages the cornea and retina. A great pair of polarized sunglasses will eradicate the UV rays. Your glasses do not have to be ugly to provide great UV protection, most companies already include this as part of their sunglasses, even the inexpensive brands.
It's always a good idea to protect your eyes from intense light. Naturally a person's iris closes when the eye receives too much light. After the eye has closed the iris as far as possible, the eyelids will instinctively squint to prevent too much light from entering the eye. If squinting does not deter the light enough, like when sunlight reflects off the snow, the excess light will damage the retina. A great pair of polarized sunglasses will block light entering the eyes as much as 97 percent and thus help the user avoid permanent retina damage.
Reflective surfaces, like water, can reflect intense amounts of light, and bright spots will camouflage or hide objects. Good sunglass lenses will eliminate the glare with the use of polarization, which you can read about later in this article.
Good quality sunglass lenses can get rid of specific frequencies of light. Some frequencies of light will blur vision while others will enhance contrast. The right color of polarized lenses will actually affect the frequencies and allow them to work better in a given situation.
The next time you consider buying a cheap pair of polarized sunglasses, think about the entire purpose for them. You can actually damage your eyes with your tightwad tendencies. Sure, the cheap glasses will save you money, but in the end, you risk your eyesight.
I just wanted to let you know how pleased I am with my FishGillz polarized sunglasses.
I was a participant in a catch and release shark fishing
tournament hosted by Ron Gentry, that benefited The Ronald McDonald
House, Memorial weekend in Galveston. FishGillz Polarized Sunglasses was one of our sponsors.
I purchased a pair as well as the rest of Team Fishy Freek from Richard Watson. I told Richard that the polarized sunglasses would probably be destroyed by the end of the weekend, because I would be running bait out and wearing them in the water. I was more than willing to try a pair of sunglasses that were not a pair that I had paid more than $200 for and I had to have a pair due to having had Lasik eye surgery 2 months previous and having light sensitivity. The polarized sunglasses endured jolts, drops, and many more other situations during running the bait out on a jet sky that my expensive pair would not have tolerated at all. I was impressed in the way that the polarized sunglasses floated and how easy they were to retrieve when I did lose them after hitting a wave. They also survived me beaching my jet sky into a sand bar and then being face planted in to the handle bars of the jet sky. I have bought other pairs of FishGillz since then and will continue to buy them. I have never had any pair of fishing sunglasses take on so much abuse and stand up so well.
FishGillz fishing sunglasses are a truly remarkable product as far as polarized sunglasses go...
I have gotten paint
on mine and was able to clean them without scratching or destroying the
lenses, I have soaked them in bleach for a half hour plus trying to destroy them and it did nothing
to the lenses or frames except clean
them very nicely. These polarized sunglasses are great for riding your motorcycle and with the
side lenses it is easier to ride without the blind spot that most
sunglasses create and your eye don’t tear up like they would with other glasses.
The polarization is even better than my $200 pair of
sunglasses. I just can’t say enough good things about FishGillz and I
will definitely be recommending them to everyone.
